About This Event

The Wild Chicken 100 will be a go-at-your own pace ride. If you’d like to race, then by all means, pedal to the metal. There just won’t be a trophy waiting for you at the end, but you could eat your dinner first!

If you’d like to leisurely pedal and make a full day of it, then by all means, enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and hospitality of one of South Georgia’s prettiest little towns and come enjoy some of the best and lightly-traveled roads around.

There will be four ride distances offered and two types of surfaces to test your skills on.

Come spend the day riding the quiet and scenic highways and byways of one of South Georgia’s most beautiful and hidden treasures. Riders will also have the option of several ticket options.

The distances will be 15, 30, 45 and 62 miles (100km). There will be a paved-only and a mixed-terrain option.

There will be two SAG stops on the lower distances and three on the longer ones.

The mixed-terrain options will consist of around 70-80% dirt/clay/sand/gravel roads.

The paved-only option will feature a variety of pavement option and cars on the roads.

Smallest tires advised on the mixed-terrain option would be 700×32 or equivalent.

All rides will begin and end at the same location.
