Cycling Camp for Cyclists and Triathletes
Take your season to the next level!
Do you want to unlock the secrets of power training to make your next season your best season ever? Join us for a dynamic power training cycling camp focused on teaching coaches and self-coached athletes the best practices of building an annual training plan using data. Whether your goal is a season of racing or an epic event, this camp will help you build a plan to succeed while enjoying amazing rides in central Florida. The camp is led by Velocious head coach Tim Cusick and features Velocious coaches Scott Moninger and Len Pettyjohn. On-the-road coaching and classroom sessions will help you learn how to collect and use data to remove bias and determine training strategies that are individualized to your specific physiological needs.
Our home base is Clermont, Florida, just a short drive from the Orlando airport. Known as the “Choice of Champions,” Clermont’s distinct rolling hills, lakes, warm climate, and sports facilities have earned it an international reputation as the training ground for triathletes, runners, and cyclists.
On the Road: Riding Highlights
  • We maintain a high coach-camper ratio (5:1) to allow for plenty of one-on-one instruction; each ride group has 1-2 coaches to guide and teach.
  • All our coaches are certified USA Cycling and/or USA Triathlon coaches.
  • Each ride has a purpose, covering a combination of ride skills and on-the-bike testing formats to help you build both skills and knowledge.
  • Our on-the-road coaching program teaches riders of all levels how to ride faster and safer.
  • We offer multiple coach-led ride groups each day allow you to ride with others of similar fitness and abilities; check out our ride levels to find a group for you.
  • Clermont’s average high temperature in December is 72 degrees, so there won’t be any snow or trainers in the forecast.
You’ll be able to attend afternoon training education sessions with Tim Cusick, an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the experts in training with data and analytics. Tim’s education background, thorough understanding of exercise physiology and training analytics, andexperience working with world-class pro cyclists give him a unique knowledge and skill set that will have you leaving the room saying, “Wow, that was incredible. Now I know what I need to change for next year!”
